Life Stress
Stress is a leading cause of physical and mental illness, leading to everything from chronic pain to depression and anxiety. While a certain amount of stress is needed to complete our day-to-day tasks, too much stress is not good for the mind, body, and spirit. You need to find ways to manage the events in your life so stress is manageable and motivating--not paralyzing and detrimental.
Athletes
Athletes face all the stressors that all of us do every day. But on top of those, they face the ongoing stress of their physical abilities, endurance, and performance. Anxiety over potential injuries, stamina, and the big game or event can lead many athletes to turn to poor eating habits and unhealthy and addictive behaviors. Young athletes in high school and college often respond to the expectations of everyone (parents, coaches, teachers) whichout realizing they have the ability to set boundaries. In these specially focused coaching sessions, Lori works one-on-one with athletes and delivers sound, actionable strategies to counter their unique issues of athletes and help them be their very best.
Regular coaching sessions with Lori can help you evaluate the factors in your life and make sure your nutrition and behaviors are putting you at the best possible advantage in managing those life factors and controlling your stress.
